Anne-Laure Faubert, Founder

Raised between the Paris region and Africa, Anne-Laure comes from Parisian families on both sides — her father's since 1854, her mother's since 1910. It was during a visit to the Louvre at the age of eight that she experienced her first true aesthetic awakening, standing before the portrait of a young English girl in whom she recognised herself.

Dreaming of becoming a journalist or a diplomat, she went on to study at Sciences-Po Paris — only to find herself, upon graduating, embarking on a career in banking inspection: was it a great-grandfather, a New York City-born banker, or simply a love of precision and numbers? She then spent six years working on French public sector reform, navigating both political and technical missions, and developing a deep understanding of France's public, economic and cultural ecosystem.

From 2011, she began attending art history courses at the Association de l'École du Louvre, and in 2014, took the leap into entrepreneurship. A young mother of twins with little time to go out, she envisioned a company where one could book cultural outings over a lunch break or an evening. The concept of bulles de culture was born: a space for oneself, free from the weight of everyday life.

A photographer, ballet enthusiast, passionate follower of fashion and devoted art advocate, Anne-Laure's ambition is to help you (re)discover the great classics of culture from a fresh angle — and lead you far off the beaten path.
